LAND CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS ARE OPEN

Thanks to our generous sponsors, the Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts and the Washington Association of Land Trusts are happy to be able to provide a handful of scholarships to our conference. We have two types of scholarships that you can read about below.

Scholarships for presenters

We do have a modest budget available to help cover registration costs and/or offset travel expenses for selected presenters. Land Camp is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, multicultural conference that is welcoming and fun for all participants. We value and want to center historically marginalized voices. We encourage people who identify as Black, Indigenous, or other people of color, as well as those who are gender nonconforming, disabled, LGBTQIA+, or from other historically marginalized communities to apply. We are prioritizing speakers with diverse backgrounds as panelists, and workshops with diverse perspectives. To access this scholarship, please indicate your interest in the DEIJ Presenter Budget question in our workshop RFP.

Scholarships for conference attendees

The scholarship will cover 50% of your Land Camp registration. Scholarships will be offered on a rolling basis with priority given to:

  • Members of the BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of color) community who haven't previously attended Land Camp

  • Staff and/or board members at smaller, regional land trust organizations who have not previously attended Land Camp.

To apply, click the button below and fill out our scholarship application form. We will review scholarship applications near the end of March.
